THE BRIEF

Teesside Lions wanted to deepen their bond with fans and the wider Teesside community at the start of a new season. The task was to create a visual identity that felt unmistakably Teesside - bold, unified, and rooted in local pride. 

WHAT WE DID

We built a season identity from the clubs DNA: fearless, ambitious, and relentless. The visual system connected the team to the city, not just the court,  creating a shared cultural identity that fans could own. To manage growing demand, we introduced the clubs first ticket ballot system, turning scarcity into anticipation and attendance into a cultural moment. 

RESULT

Engagement turned into belief. Belief turned into turnout. 

Attendance more than doubled

Record crowd in club history at final fixture.

We built the season identity from the soul of the club, its history, ambition, and relentless hunger to rise. At the core of our thinking was the teams DNA: roaring high, taking every shot, and playing with fearless intent. The identity was designed to resonate deeply with the fans, strengthening the emotional bond they have with the team they love. Through a refreshed visual language, we bridged the gap between club and city, connecting the Teesside Lions not just to the court, but to the wider Teesside community they represent.
